Yael Stone
Stone was born in Sydney and raised there. She attended Sydney's Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) and The National Institute of Dramatic Art. Her acting journey began as young, and she appeared as a character in Me Myself I. and The Farm. Her main work was in the theatre. In 2008, at the Sydney Theatre Awards, she was awarded the Best Newcomer as well as Best Supporting Actress for her role on The Kid. In addition, she worked on TV with supporting roles, such as All Saints as well as Spirited. In 2010, she appeared on stage in The Diary of a Madman. It earned her another nomination in the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting Actress. The Diary of a Madman was produced by an ensemble of the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. In March 2011 she returned to Sydney to take on the principal role as a lead actress in A Golem Story (a story about the life of a golem), Summer of the Seventeenth Doll as well as As You Like It.
